The Bat Cave, also called Chamere Gufa, is a solutional cave in Pokhara, Nepal’s Kaski District. The unique natural habitat of Horseshoe bats within the cave, which can be seen hanging over the walls and ceiling, makes it a well-liked tourist destination. The cave is located at an elevation of 990 meters and is roughly 150 meters long with a height variation of 15 meters. It was found in 1983 and is accessible to tourists, with seasonally-based tours offered.
