A Hindu-Buddhist temple called Kakre bihar temple may be found in Nepal’s Surkhet district’s Latikoili VDC. The temple occupies an area of 180 hectares and is built atop a small mountain. It is a temple of the Shikhara architecture that was constructed in the 12th century. In September 2021, the temple underwent restoration. The government has a plan to rebuild the temple in its former form, and it is safeguarded by that plan. The temple is now being restored by architects. From a historical standpoint, Kakrebihar is a very significant location and is located on a remote hilltop in the Surkhet Valley of western Nepal.
