Tal Barahi Temple, also known as Lake Temple or Varahi Temple, is a Hindu temple located on a small island in the middle of Phewa Lake in Pokhara, Nepal. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Barahi, who is believed to be an incarnation of Durga, the Hindu goddess of power and strength. The temple is a two-story pagoda-style structure made of stones and has a thatched roof. Visitors can reach the temple by boat, and it is a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus. The temple is surrounded by beautiful scenery, and visitors can enjoy a stunning view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges from the island. The temple is open to visitors throughout the year, and devotees visit the temple during the Nepalese months of Baisakh (April-May) and Kartik (November-December).
